There was never an Official Mega Meet Up before in the local motoring community less those organised by SMTA, AAS or
events organised by Corporate Companies and Government Statutory Boards.
VBR (SG VnV Club) & XOTick (SCE) both
decided that both should come together and co-organise a Meet Up with no commercial values and purely on a personal "friend
bring friend and member bring member" level to further form a more cohesive motoring community in Singapore among the local
car clubs.
The turnout was better than expected as 186 cars roars into the carpark A of Marina South on 18th February
2004. The days leading up to the event were night site recces, meetings at the usual spots at Kallang and many were appointed
Marshals and Form-Up ICs (mostly Forum Owners or Hosts).
It was so well coordinated that all arriving convoys were
beautifully choreagraphed and the shoot was over in silghtly less than 2 hours. David Ting from Steer Magazine/ Hotstuff Magazine
was covering this event. But for certain reasons, the pictures weren't published in either magazines as promised.
But
with or without the magazines, VBR & XOtick can call this event a success and they managed it with their moderators without
any professional help.

to do." - XOtick, Co-Organiser
